Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Fastest Lap app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Maksym Bilan (collectively, the "Application"). Maksym Bilan is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

The Application does not collect, log, or store any personal information when you download and use it. Registration is not required, and there are no accounts. If the Application is used with an active internet connection, technical protocol data (such as your ephemeral IP address) is transmitted to facilitate network connectivity, but this data is not retained or used for tracking.

Everything the Application records about your driving stays on your device: lap times, personal bests, ghost recordings, career progress, the car you picked, and your settings. None of it is uploaded by the Application, and all of it is removed when you delete the app.

Three things sit outside that, and each has its own section below: Game Center, which is optional; purchases, which Apple handles; and this website, if you choose to give it your email address.

Game Center

If you sign in to Game Center, the Application submits your lap times to per-circuit leaderboards and reports achievement progress. That goes to Apple under Apple's privacy policy, and it is entirely optional — declining leaves the Application fully playable, with your times still kept on the device.

Purchases

The Application sells one non-consumable unlock. The payment itself is handled by Apple; the Service Provider never sees your card details, name or billing address.

Purchase state is managed through RevenueCat, which is how the Application knows on a new device that you have already paid. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app user ID and the App Store receipt for the purchase. That identifier is not linked to an account, an email address, or anything you have told the Service Provider.

This website

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. It stores one thing in your browser's local storage — your chosen language — so the page opens in it next time. Clearing site data removes it.

The site is served by Firebase Hosting, which keeps standard request logs including IP addresses, in the ordinary way any web server does. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.

If you enter your email address in the "notify me" form, that address is stored along with the date, the page section you submitted from, and your chosen language. It is held in Google Cloud Firestore and used for one purpose: to tell you once, when the game is available on the App Store. It is not sold, rented, shared with anyone, or used for anything else.

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

The Application itself collects no personal information, so normal play produces nothing to pass on. Data reaches a third party only in the three cases described above, and only for the purpose named there:

No data is sold, rented, or shared for advertising, and the Application contains no analytics or advertising SDK.

What are my opt-out rights?

Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, uninstalling it simply removes the Application from your device.

Game Center submissions stop if you do not sign in, or if you sign out. A mailing-list address is deleted on request. If you contact the Service Provider directly or voluntarily provide information by other means, you may request deletion of that information by contacting m4xbilan@gmail.com.

Children

The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market to them. Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, children's data is not at risk from use of the Application alone. If you voluntarily provide personal information through other means and are under 13 years of age, your parent or guardian must provide consent on your behalf where permitted by law.

Security

Because the Application does not collect personal data, the risk of personal data exposure is minimal. However, no security system is completely secure. The Service Provider implements reasonable safeguards to protect systems and any data it holds.

Data Breach Notification

Since the Application does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of a data breach affecting your personal data is minimal. If a breach occurs involving any data you have voluntarily provided, the Service Provider will notify you as required by applicable law.

Changes

The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy with an effective date. Where required by law, the Service Provider will seek your consent to material changes before they take effect.

Your Consent

If you voluntarily provide information to the Service Provider and processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
